Slow Cooker Asian Citrus Shredded Chicken

Ingredients
- 3 lbs. (1.4kg) boneless skinless chicken breastsÂ
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 2 cups (480ml) chicken brothÂ
- juice of 1 orangeÂ
- 4 tbsp. tamari sauce
- 4 tbsp. rice wine vinegarÂ
- 2 tbsp. hoisin sauceÂ
- 1 tbsp. sesame oilÂ
- 2 tsp. Chinese five spice powder
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place in the base of a slow cooker.Â
- In a bowl, whisk together all the remaining ingredients and pour into the slow cooker, covering the chicken.Â
- Cook the chicken on high for 3 hours. Once chicken has cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix together with the cooking liquor.
