Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. sage 
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt 
  • 1 tsp. dried basil 
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder 
  • ½ tsp. onion powder 
  • ½ tsp. dried oregano 
  • pinch of chili flakes 
  • ground black pepper, to taste 
  • 1 lb. (450g) lean pork mince 
  • 1 lb. (450g) turkey mince 
  • 1 tbsp. honey

  1. Place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and use your hands to mix until well combined. Form the mixture into 16 balls and then flatten a little to form patties. 
  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-8 minutes on one side, until browned. Then flip them over and cook for a further 5 minutes until browned on the second side and cooked through.
